Media Badges are good for one individual only. Each member of a station, website or print publication must apply to obtain access to Star Wars Celebration Orlando. We will maintain a high standard of excellence when we award Media Badges so please understand that:
- If you are approved for a Media Badge, it is good for entry to all free events held at Star Wars Celebration, but does not include admission into any ticketed Special Events.
- Your Media Badge will not allow early access, special access or guaranteed seating.
- Your Media Badge will not allow you to cut lines.
- Your Media Badge will not guarantee interviews with Star Wars Celebration guests.
Media Badges are extended as a courtesy of Star Wars Celebration. Each is issued individually and is non-transferable. You may not transfer or sell your Media Badge and any individuals conducting such activity will be disqualified from Media Badges at future Star Wars Celebration events.
Star Wars Celebration Media Registration is open for journalists regularly making editorial contributions (Editorial Press) only. Editorial Press includes writers, reporters, reviewers, producers, photographers, cameramen, etc. who are attending specifically to write about Star Wars Celebration and/or cover the event for newspapers, magazines, TV, blogs, podcasts, radio, etc. Non-editorial personnel at media companies such as graphic designers, marketing, public relations and sales staff do not qualify for Media Badges. Non-editorial applications for Media Badges will not be approved. Your approval for a Media Badge at previous editions of Star Wars Celebration or other ReedPOP events does not guarantee you a Media Badge for Star Wars Celebration Orlando in 2017. You must complete and submit the Media Badge application no matter what your previous Star Wars Celebration approval status.
Media Badges are limited in nature and will be issued only to professionally employed adults. Badges will not be issued to children, family or guests. Additionally, the Star Wars Celebration team of Lucasfilm and ReedPOP will determine which applications will be approved, and also the number of Badges per publication, broadcaster, or electronic media. Decisions are final.
